Sukkot and The Incarnation

Sukkot and The Incarnation by MOSHE MORRISON OCTOBER 22, 2017 The sukkah is a picture of Yeshua, the Word who became flesh and “tabernacled” among us. (John 1:14) Literally, the Word became flesh and “sukkahed” among us. Philippians 2:6,7 makes a similar declaration: “Who, although he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a bond servant, being made in the likeness of men.” Yeshua came from the most solid and secure, permanent place. Even our well-built homes are but less than a shadow of the reality of the eternal realm. The biggest and the best of everything in every sphere on earth cannot compare with the

Three Ages of Western History

THREE AGES OF WESTERN HISOTRY by DAN JUSTER OCTOBER 15, 2019 Some of what we are going through in the terrible moral struggles of the Western world is due to the abandonment of the historic approaches to truth and culture. Though this is a simplistic summary, I think it is basically a true understanding. I was a student of the history of philosophy and a serious philosophy major in college and graduate school. So this is my approach to what is happening. Western Society as formed by the cultural elite throughout history, can be divided into three eras. The first is what I call the faith/reason period, second, the enlightenment empirical era, and finally the Irrational emotive preference er

TRUTH!

QUOTE: All truth goes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

Did Creation take place in 6 twenty-four hour days or were they longer? This week I bring to you a fascinating approach from a fascinating man. Daniel Friedmann holds a master’s degree in engineering physics and is the Chairman of Carbon Engineering, a company dedicated to removing co2 from the air to solve climate change and ex-CEO of the Canadian company that made the robotic arm for the Spa

Three Sukkot on Mount Transfiguration

Three Sukkot on Mount Transfiguration by FFOZ While the Master prayed through the long hours of the night, Simon Peter, James, and John could not fight off sleep. Their eyes were very heavy. As they would later do in Gethsemane, they fell asleep while Yeshua prayed. They by slept, unaware of His transfiguration and the presence of Moses and Elijah until they awoke. Then they saw His glory. The darkness of the night around them had transformed to dazzling light. “And behold, two men were talking with Him; and they were Moses and Elijah” (Luke 9:30). They “appeared in glory” with the Master (Luke 9:31). The disciples did not need any introductions. Somehow, by means of some soulish-spiritual r

SAFI Rejects Anglican Church of Southern Africa’s hateful anti-Israel resolution

SAFI Rejects Anglican Church of Southern Africa’s hateful anti-Israel resolution The South African Friends of Israel (SAFI) is gravely concerned over the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA)’s anti-Israel resolution passed at its recent Provincial Synod. This resolution begins by decrying all forms of antisemitism, but ends in an antisemitic call to target and sanction the one and only Jewish State for harmful boycott actions. It remains silent on all other human rights concerns including Palestinian attacks on Christian freedoms in cities such as Bethlehem. The resolution makes the preposterous claim that the land of Israel should not be “confused” with the Israel of the Bible. It a

BLASPHEMOUS AND DANGEROUS - REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY AND TODAY'S CHURCH

BLASPHEMOUS AND DANGEROUS - REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY AND TODAY'S CHURCH by Chuck Cohen, director, Intercessors for Israel A Watchmen from Jerusalem Teaching Introduction Biblical truth gives us the foundation we need to get to know the God who saved us and to live in a way that pleases Him. Correct biblical teaching (doctrine) also enables us to identify prophetic signs in today's world. Yet for those who follow the demonic delusion known as Replacement Theology [RT], current events and their relationship to the return of Messiah Yeshua1 become blurry and mysterious. These people, many of whom are our brothers and sisters in Messiah, end up believ

Arab Plumbers Refuse to Charge Holocaust Survivor for Work

Arab Plumbers Refuse to Charge Holocaust Survivor for Work The situation in Israel can sometimes be complicated with the tension between Jewish and Arab Israelis due to the political situation. But every so often a story comes out that shows the humanity of most of the people in this country. This is one such story. Two Arab Israeli plumbers, who are brothers, were fixing a major leak at an apartment in Haifa for Rosa Meir, who is 95. While one brother was working, the other started talking to Meir. “When we got there, we saw there was a large blast of water and we started fixing it,” said Simon Matari. “At some stage, while working, my brother Salim started to talk to Rosa about her life. Shabbat for the Home

Isaiah 56 1 Thus says the LORD: "Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my deliverance be revealed. 2 Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath, not profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil." 3 Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD say, "The LORD will surely separate me from his people"; and let not the eunuch say, "Behold, I am a dry tree." 4 For thus says the LORD: "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose the things that please me and hold fast my covenant, 5 I will give in my house and within my walls a monument and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give

Victory and Persecution in Revelation

VICTORY OR PERSECUTION by ASHER INTRATER One of the most precious promises in the Bible is in Acts 2:17, “In the Last Days, says the Lord, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.” We understand this to be a promise of a world-wide revival in the end times. (Yeshua also said that the “harvest is the end of the world” Matthew 13:39.) Some people do not believe in such a revival in the end times. They point to the prophecies about persecution and tribulation and the antichrist in the end times, and conclude (reasonably enough) that there could be no widespread revival. So which is it? Revival or persecution? Victory or tribulation? The answer of course is “both”.

The Mock Coronation

THE MOCK CORANATION FFOZ The Romans hailed Yeshua as king. After thoroughly scourging the Master, sending his body into shock, the Roman soldiers entertained themselves with a game. They dressed Him in a royal robe. They twisted together a crown of thorns such as the laurel wreathes worn by Caesars in those days. They placed a reed in His hand to serve as a scepter—a twisting of the messianic prophecy that speaks of the Messiah’s strong scepter of iron. The soldiers knelt before Him, prostrated themselves before Him, and said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” The game turned violent, and they began to slap Him across the face, s

Parashat Vayeilech

Saturday 5th October 2019 6th Tishri 5779 PARASHAT VAYEILECH - Shabbat Shuva by H.Raysman Deuteronomy 31:1-30; Isaiah 55:6-56:8; Matt 18:21 – 35 Parashat VaYelech is the shortest of all the 54 Torah portions that are read throughout the Jewish year. It is only one chapter long! The ten-day period between Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur is called Aseret Y’mei Teshuva – The Ten Days of Repentance. It is also known as Yomim Noraim – The Days of Awe. And therefore, the Shabbat that falls within this 10-day period is appropriately called Shabbat Shuva – the Sabbath of Turning or
