Erev Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles

Psalm 30:6 – “For His anger lasts for only a moment, His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.


The celebration of Sukkot comes four days after a time of fasting and earnestly seeking the Lord as typified by the Day of Atonement.

This marks the conclusion of the book of Deuteronomy. While the Torah Scroll is turned back to Genesis chapter 1, Michael Page will be our speaker.

Very Important:

Both Sukkot and Simchat Torah will be followed by a bring ‘n share supper. Please note that it is ‘milchik’ i.e. no meat products at all. Vegetable quiches, fired fish, fish cakes, ready made sandwiches with tuna, assorted cheeses, egg etc, vegetable sticks with dips and so forth. Please consider brining juice and something for dessert also.
