Erev Sukkot - Tabernacles

Erev Simchat Torah - Rejoicing in the Torah

We will celebrate Sukkot and Simchat Torah at Beit Ariel as follows:

EREV SUKKOT  -  Friday 25^th September. Our speaker will be Edie Sher. at 18h15 at our venue

Psalm 27:6 - "in His Tabernacle, I will offer up sacrifices with shouts of joy"

EREV SIMCHAT TORAH -  Saturday 3^rd October. Herschel will give a ‘vort’ (a brief d’rash) at 18h00 at our venue.

Psalm 126:5 - "those who sow in tears (Yom Kippur/Atonement) will reap with a song of joy (Sukkot/Simchat Torah)"

Bring 'n Share savoury meal. No meat or chicken, please

Both celebrations will be followed by our customary finger-style bring ‘n share supper. The meal is ‘milchik’ i.e. not meat or chicken products. Please bring prepared savoury food such as ready-made sandwiches with egg/tuna/cheese fillings. Bring fried fish/fish cakes, vegetable samosas and quiches. Bring assorted cheeses with crackers, assorted vegetable sticks with dips, fruit platters etc. Let’s major on savoury foods rather than sweet things. And, of course, some juice to quench our thirst.

Invite your family and friends and we celebrate HaShem’s (God’s) goodness extended to us in the Person of Yeshua!
