Hanukkah - חנוכה
The Festival of Dedication at Beit Ariel
John 10:22-24 - Then came Hanukkah; it was winter in Jerusalem. Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade. Then the Judean leaders surrounded Him, saying, “How long will You hold us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us outright!”
Wishing everyone a warm and happy
Festival of Lights and may it be filled
We will celebrate Hanukkah at Beit Ariel on
Sunday 14th December
Venue: NG Church, corner Upper Union Street and Kloof Nek Road https://maps.app.goo.gl/37QY4CgyqjY9K9vX9
Time: 18h00 - 20h30
The service will be followed by a bring 'n share meal that is 'milchik' (i.e. no meat or chicken products). Bring savoury food including fried fish or fish cakes, vegetable quiches, bring sandwiches with assorted fillings (cheese, egg, tuna), vegetable sticks with assorted dips, bring assorted cheeses with crackers etc. (it is a finger supper so please bear this in mind).
Bring juice plus of course, a baked cheesecake or two.
Please bring your own Hanukkiah (9-branched candelabra) with coloured candles, and we will light them and recite the blessing (b'racha) together.
Looking forward to celebrating this wonderful Biblical festival with you.
