Psalm 122:6 - 9
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem — "May those who love you be at peace! May there be shalom within your walls — quietness within your palaces." For the sake of my brothers and friends, I now say: "Shalom be within you." For the sake of the House of Adonai our God, I will seek your good.
1 Timothy 2:1 - 6
Therefore, first of all I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all people — for kings and all who are in authority — so we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and respectfulness. This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior. He desires all men to be saved and come into the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and there is one Mediator between God and men — a human, Messiah Yeshua, who gave Himself as a ransom for all
