Our Torah portion picks up right where chapter 10 left off with the death of Nadav and Avihu. Chapter 10 took us outside the camp with their death. We come back to the holy of holies with the cleansing of the metzora in chapters 11 through 15. This brings us full circle back to the tabernacle in chapter 16. However, this is not the topic for this evening’s d’rash.
Revelations 12:11
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by
the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to
the death.
