SIMCHAT TORAH - REJOICING IN THE TORAH

Come and join us this evening - Monday 17th October - for our Simchat Torah (Rejoicing in the Torah) celebrations. This completes the annual cycle of Torah readings in Deuteronomy 34 and then, the Torah Scroll is rolled all the way back to the beginning and we commence the new annual cycle by reading from Genesis, chapter 1.

We are at Kingdom Hub, 3 Roodehek Street, Gardens ( a one way from Buitengracht Street to Hope Street). The service commences at 18h15

Afterward, there will be a time of fellowship as we enjoy a "milchik" (no meat product) bring 'n share supper together. Bring fish cakes, fried fish, vegetable quiches (again no meat), vegetable sticks with dips, ready made sandwiches etc etc. Bring some juice also. Bring sufficient for yourselves and also, a little extra for our guests.

All are welcome! It is a fun evening for the kids and all will have the opportunity to dance in circuits carrying the Sefer Torah! You should be home again by 20h30.
