What is Really Behind the Arab-Israeli Conflict?

What is Really Behind the Arab-Israeli Conflict?

By David Silver Jun 2, 2021

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation.” – Isaiah 14:12-13

The recent 11-day war between Israel and Hamas is just the latest eruption of violence between Muslim Arabs and Jews that has been raging since we became a nation. It is an ancient hatred that has cost multitudes of lives over the last 4000 years and will continue to cost lives until Yeshua returns.

Last week I shared what I believe was really behind the war with Hamas and this week I want to once again look at what is really behind the longest running, most life costing feud of all time. I have shared this before but I want to be sure that you know the facts, to enable you to be able to defend Israel and the Jewish people as the world increasingly turns against us. As with everything in the Universe, there is a natural heart and a spiritual heart to this conflict.

The Natural Heart of the Arab-Jewish Conflict (Who really has a right to the land?)

* As I wrote above, it is a feud – a family feud between the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael. The longest most life costing family feud of all time. * When Mohammed came on the scene in the year 600 AD, and later birthed Islam, this family feud became a Jihad or holy war * This family feud that became a holy war is primarily over the rights to the land that GOD promised to their common forefather, Abraham. In Genesis 21:12 we see that the seed is through Isaac not Ishmael

Genesis 15:17 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river Euphrates:

Psalm 105:7-11 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant; saying to you I will give the land of Canaan

In the early 20th century, the British Partition and the San Remo Convention both confirmed the Jewish people were the rightful inhabitants of the land. Also, the foundations of the 1st and 2nd Jewish Temples are directly under the Al Aqsa Mosque – in archaeology, you can know who was there first by whose foundations are on the bottom.

Even PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein acknowledged that the so called ” Palestinian people” was a propaganda invention, in a 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw he said: “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.”

The Spiritual Heart of the Arab-Jewish Conflict (Where the problem really lies)

A basic understanding of the Bible makes it very clear that both the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and the major events of world history are interlocked and are the story of the age-old conflict between YHVH and Lucifer over the re-establishment of GOD’s Kingdom on the Earth. The Bible is also very clear that the heart of the Kingdom was, is, and always will be the Temple Mount in the heart of Jerusalem.

2 Chronicles 7:12 Then YHVH appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, “I have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice

2 Chronicles 7:16 For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that my name shall dwell here forever

Joel 3:17 Then you will know that I am YHVH your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain.

Psalm 2:6 As for me, I have set my King on my Holy Hill, Zion.

It is very clear to see that Jerusalem and more specifically the Temple Mount is very much at the heart of the conflict. Islam defies the opening scripture from Isaiah 14:12-13 and boasts about Muhammed, claiming that he ascended the Temple Mount and from their ascended to heaven, mirroring or expressing the boast of Lucifer, that he will sit (occupy) the Holy place.

When Yeshua returns to the Earth to be King of Kings and Lord of Lords of His Father’s Kingdom, it can only be to a rebuilt Temple on the exact location where the mosque sits today. That is YHVH’s personal address on the Earth, and it is where He created Adam & Eve, it is where He called Abraham to build the altar to sacrifice Issac, and it is where the Holy of Holies was located in the 1st and 2nd Temples. Yeshua will sit on the Throne of David in that very spot… and the Devil knows it! In fact the evil one states his intention to occupy that same spot in Isaiah 14:12-13. And he has been occupying it since the mosque was built in the year 690 AD.

Now it should be very obvious from the above, what is really at the heart of the conflict. It is over the Jewish people’s GOD given right to occupy ALL of the Promised Land, (Jeremiah 30:3) and especially their right to Jerusalem as their undivided capital city of Israel, and it is over who will ultimately rule and reign from that contested piece of land, for 1000 years, and then for all Eternity when the New Jerusalem comes down to the exact same location.

No wonder the Devil is agitated. No wonder most of the world is standing with the enemies of Israel, and no wonder the level of anti-Semitic attacks is on the rise again, even in the USA which has been a safe haven for Jews to live – until now. No wonder most of the secular media blames Israel and fans the flames of anti-Semitism.

What is a wonder to me is why do the majority of pastors not realise these facts and teach their people the truth about Israel, and make Israel the priority for prayer and support that is should be for every Bible believing Christian, who is looking forward to the return of the Lord. Well it is not really a wonder – the reason is that most Bible Schools and seminaries where the next generation of pastors and leaders are prepared for ministry, are still under the influence of Replacement Theology.

Israel and the Jewish people have suffered persecution since the time that God allocated the specified land to Abraham and his seed.

If we truly live in the time proceeding the 2nd coming of Messiah, then we should realise that this issue is central to the final fulfillment of all the prophecies that must take place before the Lord is released form Heaven ( Acts 3:21 ), to come to take His Bride and set up His millennium rule.

The secular world leaders and the secular media have no way of ever seeing the truth and the roots of the problem, because they give no place to the authority of the Bible.

Psalm 24:1 The Earth is the Lords & all its fullness It’s the Lord’s land to do with what He chooses Psalm 115:16 The Heavens, even the Heavens are the Lords, but the Earth HE has given to the children of men We have no access to Heaven YET – but He has given us the Earth Acts 17:26 - From one He made every nation of men to live on the face of the earth, having set appointed times and the boundaries of their territory.

Many will say “Yes but… Israel broke the covenant.” – No they didn’t – Abraham was asleep when God made this land covenant – it is an unconditional covenant. Gen 15:17

“Yes but Israel disobeyed God. ” – So do we every day. Does that mean God will break His covenant? Rom 11:21 the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable

“Yes, but God scattered them.” – Yes, but He also promised He would regather them a the end of the age. Jeremiah 30:3 For behold the days are coming says the Lord, that I will bring back form captivity, My people Israel and Judah, And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

So, if you were not sure before, now you can be sure you know whose land it is. You know something that 99.9% of the World doesn’t seem to know, that CNN, BBC, UN & EC politicians don’t know whose land it really is.

As sons and daughters of the God of Israel living in these last days in the anointing of Ruth, Esther and Elijah, we are called to be Israel’s friends, to go before kings on Israel’s behalf, and to boldly and unashamedly declare the Word of the Lord.

These are the Days of Elijah – time to declare the Word of the Lord – its the source of the truth. Don’t feel bad about being a lone voice – that is the ministry of Elijah – a lone voice crying in the wilderness.

GET READY – PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD
